Interporto Marche SpA company aim is the development of the intermodal transport system in Central Italy.Interporto Marche freight village is the key element of the Logistics Platform of Marche region, along the Ancona sea-port and Ancona-Falconara airport: built nearby the North-South national route S.S.16 and the pay-toll Austostrada A14, along the East-West national railway and the national route S.S. 76 from Ancona to Rome, only 5 kms away from Ancona-Falconara airport and 25 kms from Ancona seaport.
It is a public limited company made up of 30 partners of different nature such as private companies (i.e. the Italian Railway company-RFI) banks, public companies and trade associations. The majority shareholder is SVIM (Sviluppo Marche SpA), the Development Company of the Regione Marche Government. Regione Umbria Government is also a shareholder of Interporto Marche company and sits in the Board of Directors as VP, represented by Sviluppumbria SpA company.
